Tara M Houston (b. 1974) is an American artist that is currently residing in Oklahoma

Tara's art embodies emotional realism and touches on the subjects of spirituality, mythology, legend/lore, and esotericism. 

Working in mixed media and tradigital art, Tara strives to create inspirational pieces that capture the raw and emotional energy of each and every one of her subjects. Each creation is an exploration into the stories that have been told throughout the ages highlighting the relationship between human, nature, and divinity.  Each work of art is a semblance of emotion, a story to tell, or a divine spark that speaks from the heart and soul.

Entirely self-taught, Tara has always walked to the beat of her own drum, following her own path where she continues to push the boundaries of her knowledge and experiences always seeking new challenges and growth.
